Discussion
A low-grade monsoon pattern will exist for Arizona this week, resulting in thunderstorms favoring the higher terrain in east-central and southeastern Arizona. Over the next few days, western Pinal County will mainly only get some leftover breezes from distant thunderstorms in the evenings/nights. However, storm chances do look to increase later in the week.
PM10 (dust) will remain mostly locally driven, with elevated levels possible in the mornings from local activity. We also can't rule out brief dust in the evenings/nights because of breezes from distant thunderstorms. But, we'll watch for any greater dust potential later in the week.
