Forecast Discussion:

Strong high pressure is expected to keep temperatures well above normal for the next several days. In fact, an Extreme Heat Warning (issued by the National Weather Service) is in effect through Monday. Though activity over Arizona is expected to ramp up over the weekend, at this time, chances for measurable precipitation are expected to remain outside of Yuma.

Peak 8 hour average Ozone each day is expected to remain in the Good range due to favorable wind patterns.

Daily average Particulate levels are expected to remain in the Good range aided by warm season ventilation.

Peak ventilation will be in the Very Good category over the weekend and into early next week.
